Renting a snowmobile with DB Motorsports is simple, fun and stress free. Here's how it works:
Reserve your Ride
- Conveniently reserve your rental right on our website
- Verify any additional gear you may need at the time of reservation
- If you need to change your dates at any time, give us a call 906 482 0690
Check In & Waiver
- Arrive at our location at your rental time
- Bring a valid drivers license and credit card
- Our staff with wall you through the check-out process
Gear Up
- We'll provide you with a heated shield rental helmet if you do not have one
- Trail maps are included with every rental
- Wear warm, layered clothing, winter boots and gloves (ask about our rental gear)
Safety Briefing
- Our team will give a short safety briefing before heading out
- Beginners are always welcome - we'll make sure you feel confident before you go.
Hit the Trails
- Head straight from our location in Hancock directly onto trail #3
- Ride at your own pace, take in the scenery, and make plenty of stops for photos (off the trail)
Return & Wrap Up
- Bring your sled back BY 8:00am the morning following your last day. ( You can drop off anytime after hours via key drop box)
- Bring your sled back with a full tank of gas
- Our staff will check the sled in the following day
- Get warmed up inside, share your photos, and start planning your next ride!

Where should I ride in the Keweenaw?
Our rentals give you direct access to over 200 miles of the best snowmobile trails in the Midwest.
We have a few favorite routes. Click this link to see the trail map online.
- Looking for an all day adventure? Take trail 3 from our shop north through Calumet, merge onto 134 to visit the point of the Keweenaw, High Rock Bay. Take 134 back to Copper Harbor and up Brockway Mountain for spectacular views of Lake Superior. Then take trail 3/17 back into Hancock.
- Looking for an evening loop with the family? Take the trail 3/17 loop from our shop through Lake Linden to Calumet and back to Hancock on trail 17.

Safety & Requirements
Your safety is our top priority. Here's what you need to know before renting:
- Driver(s) must be a minimum of 18 years old with a valid drivers license.
- Helmet rentals are available and must be worn at all times
- We take a $500 security deposit with every rental.
- Driver must complete a waiver before operating the machine.

Cancellations made 7 days before the start date of the rental receive a full refund. Late cancelations result in a forfeit of the $100 booking deposit.

Yes, snowmobiles are equipped with headlights, but riding at night comes with lower visibility and increased risks.
Yes, we offer both 1-up and 2-up snowmobile rentals. Two seater machines are perfect for couples, families, or beginners who want to ride together.
Yes, we require a $100/ deposit to reserve which goes toward your rental. We also take a $500 hold on a credit card for the duration of the rental.
We offer an optional damage coverage to reduce your financial responsibility in case of an accident. Ask us about the details.
If the trails are closed due to unsafe or low snow conditions, we will reschedule or give a full refund of the reservation deposit.
